These photos are sunshine to my eyes Jimmy! These are some of the best images I have seen of a male great egret in mating plumage. You might want to adjust the black point of the last one to get better contrast. Super work!

Stunning shots, Jimmy! IMO, you were fortunate to have an overcast day, considering the difficulties in dealing with "hot" sun on a stark-white subject and the resulting difficulty in holding detail in highights.

Thanks for the really nice comments everyone. Texan Guy these were taken at High Island Texas. I used a D300 and 300mm 2.8 lens with teleconverters on these Rad. I just recieved the camera and lens the day before these were taken and was giving the new equipment a test run. Thanks for looking.
