Gosh Raf, Thanks for hanging in there with me!! Your support, encouragement, and honest critique means the world to me and has always provided valuable insight in my learning journey. As of late, thanks for putting up with these "photographer Gone wild" experiemnts, very much appreciated!!what you did in PP to assist the overall effect, but I do like it. I
hope you don't mind my saying.... but it has been a pleasure to watch
your growth and it continues to be a pleasure to watch your
experimentations.
Thank you! I wish I had a formula but I don't. I just play until I get the look I'm aiming for. I utilize many diff. functions in the PSPX1 software. I do add grain..and from there I play with color, a few diff. filters...highlight, shadows..and the usual things as well. I probably couldn't duplicate this one exactly if I were to try again..unless I write down all the numbers.Beautifull colors and interesting effect you have produced here.
How was that achieved?

Yes, I do increase the Noise/grain. I also add a few filters and adjust the intesity, as well as color sat, and in some cases desat. I basically just play until I have what I want. I should write it down for when others have questions or if I ever want to duplicate the application, though none are ever exactly the same.Hi, Robin-Lee!
That tulip looks fantastic. You are developing your own photo style.
I like the colors complementing each other and the texture you
created by PPing. How do you that? Do you increase the noise?
I'm sorry to hear about this Mustafa. I have read this can be a problem on the Oly forum..some have even said they have it with E3. I have not used mine enough..since I'm having focusing issues with my 12-60mm. I may have to send it in. Very frusterating! Seems they should iron out all the wrinkles before selling the product and making people have to send back lenses, camera's etc. I think they need a better QC..dept. I'm sure the Oly folks can give you some advice..or call Olympus and ask them. It's a shame! I have't tried the dust test, I'm almost afraid too!I am back from Helsinki with some pictures and dust spots on the
sensor! Oly's dust removal system is apparently not so effective. I
saw two dark spots in my pictures at the same place. I cleaned the
lens, they are gone, but then I did the dust test: f/16, out of
focus, shoot against a white photo paper. Then open the picture in PS
and apply auto-levels. There are at least 4-5 dust particles, one is
really visible. I am thinking what to do: option 1) send the camera
to Olympus, 2) try to clean myself using those special soft brushes.
Have you had any dust problem with E-3 or Canon?
Thank you Mike!! I'm so happy you said that because that was exactly what I wanted! I wasn't going for photorealism here.... is art. The shape, style and simplicity of it is beautiful. If
you don't mind a suggestion, you could do 3, each with a different
colour background and mount them side by side in one frame. I'd have
that on my wall.
I'm so happy you like it! I wasn't sure this would go over well with everyone, and it may not.as it is more of an "art" type conversion..rather than photorealism, so I'm happy you rec'd it well! Thanks you!!Two thumbs up. Heck I'll include my fingers too, 'cause I like it so
much!
