Hi,

Which website do surf most to get information about photography?

Here or Steves digicams mostly, but I do also google widely when I want model specific info as a cross check.

Cheers, Rob : ) Fujifilm s9600 lovin' it!

The PopPhoto forums have some extremely knowledgable photographers on them, if you have questions about actual photography, not just wanting to browse equipment discussions, it's a good site.

I rather doubt that, not sure what "stats" your talking about but I guess it all depends on what you restrict the term "do you surf MOST to get information about photography" to mean.

Well according to the stats "FujiLinks" is amongst them.

I see DPreview has been favourably mentioned in a few "quality" newspapers and I haven't found a site to better it.

In a word, 'authoritative'.

Forum navigation is the best too.

Yes, DPReview is one of the better ones, especially about gear, I wish they would do more reviews, its been VERY slow lately as far as new camera reviews (Nikon D3 and D300 to name a couple serious ommissions), the reviews here are easily among the best though.

Luminous Landscapes, Nikonians, and a few others are good sites about photography and there are hundreds of sites dedicated to post processing.

I have found that Imaging Resource has the most up-to-date reviews, but DP review has the best reviews.

SO,

What I will do is get my expectations from Imaging Resource and the final answer from DP review.

They are usually consistent - imaging resource does not have a lot of detail, but from what I have seen they are consistently in-line with DP Review as far as their opinions of cameras go. However, if I had to choose I still think I'd pick DP review overall, as it is a much more comprehensive review process and a far more developed site.

Other good ones are dcresource and steves-digicams, but they are not of the same caliber as this site.

It's not what you spend, it's what you buy!

Hi,

Of course my fav is dpreview. :)
I like Jeff's reviews on dcresource very much.

Imaging-resource is very informative but I wouldn't say their reviews are the best. That honour is for this site.

Regards,
L.

I have found imaging resoiurce's reviews not very helpful. I prefer reviews from actual users, like those on fredmiranda and photocamel.
