"May" Contest! yippee!

I've got a great snap of Bluebells taken Sunday. I haven't got a
website/url, but some pictures come up on this BBoard without me
visiting the site for a big one. (OK Calm Down)
Help
(It's a winner!)
Hi Kevin,

Before you can post your image in this forum or a link you have to publish it elsewhere, many people post their pictures in the site of Pbase, so try to publish it there and post then the url of the page and the image in your thread here. Without that their is no way to publish it in Dpreview. Hope this helps.

With kind regards,

OK Kodak Friends! How about we post photos of "May Flowers"
Can you advise how to post an entry so that it is part of this thread. I tried yesterday but ended up making a separate new thread!

I note that some people give a web address to see their photos whereas others have their pictures come up already on the page. Again, how is that done. I've looked and looked but can't see any instructions. No doubt the answers will be obvious.

Regards

Hi Ian,

You have to post your image first to another site, most people use Pbase for that I think and then include the url of the page here and if you wish that your picture shows up at the page here you also have to include the url for the image, so not ending with htm but with jpg. I think that in the posting rules you maybe can find additional information about this (on top of a reply in yellow). Hope that this can help.

With kind regards,

Hi there,

I've been watching this forum for a while now and have finally decided to take the plunge! I've been really encouraged by some of the postings (entertained during my lunchbreaks too!)

I'm using a DC4800 and loving it! took some getting used to but think I understand its quirks now.

Anyway here's my humble offering ;-)

It was taken indoors with natural window light, handheld... aperture priority if I remember correctly.

J.

PS off to buy the lens kit this afternoon after months of deliberation :)
OK Kodak Friends! How about we post photos of "May Flowers" that
were brought in by "April Showers"??? You can post any photos taken
anytime of any flower, or any kind of shower.......... use your
imagination!
Aloha, debra

This is my first attempt at posting pictures, these are taken in my yard in Nova Scotia, if you can see them, I hope you like them. Gary

Here is Margaret. She is our neighbors newest arrival. Margaret is only two weeks old! She kept moving around too much to get a good photo of her, but this one shows off her cute self.

I didn't pay attention to your title, and was expecting a cute baby! What I surprise I got!

Linda! I was so surprised when I first saw this little pig! I couldn't believe my neighbors got it! It's a wild. We have a lot of pigs on Oahu.

I have no new photos of flowers or rain, so I thought Margaret would do! She is so much fun! Her new "parents" are very proud and show her off by taking her for walks! The little thing already Heels! Too funny!

Thanks Debra

I've been so encouraged by everybody's pics and hints and tips for the DC4800 and have often spent my lunchbreaks reading your discussions.

Its nice to take part now ;-)

I'll definitely be back!
Hey Jac! PLEASE post more photos! This is beautiful! Great shot!
