sex in a tree is acceptable, but once the tree becomes a table, sex on it is no longer G rated? LOL

John - an excellent theme! I can't wait to see all the entries. Okay - here is mine BUT please just count this as support to your challenge - more as an exhibition entry as I just won and want to give others the opportunity - not that mine would win. Oh heck - you know what I'm trying to say. :-)

LOVE BUGS (Robber's Flies) (And I hope this isn't too x-rated!)

(I'd be honored and overjoyed to have any of my posted photographs critiqued, commented on, or post-processed - I can attribute everything I know about photography to the wonderful people who have done this for me in the past!)

So, I'll have to tell you what went on in a tree in a park last Summer. I was taking some long shots of a huge Dawn Redwood. An athletic looking couple, probably college students, came by and proceeded to climb the tree. They pulled down big branches and shinnied up them in an impressive fashion. Then, when they reached a point more than 100 feet up, they made their application to join a special arboreal version of the Mile-High Club. Sorry, no pictures of that here.

Okay, you asked for it! Here's my entry as position No. 34 1/2 in the bug Kama Sutra. By the way, Sky, those bugs of yours know how to keep love-making about as detached and impersonal as it can be.

I really like this shot, Justin.

It has so much going for it, composition, colour, dead-on exposure and the perfect subject for this mini-challenge.

This one's not going to be easy to top.

Cheers,
Jerry
