I was thinking of buying the F40, but it seams like the F50 has some better options and I can buy it at Best Buy. The Cannon cameras beside the sd1000 are a lot more expensive. I like the sd870, but I do not like its price. Also the Fuji camera looks like it does a lot better than Cannon's in lowlight or museums. Is there any other camera in the lower $200 range that can outperform the F50 in your honest opinion. I know if I hurry that I can still use the $50 off rebate on the Fuji.

Also should I use the 6mp or 12mp file size on the f50? Does that help the time between shots a lot? I just wanted to get some last opinions before I go to the store tomorrow.

Looking at your previous posts, it looks like you have not made a decision yet. But if you want to get in on the Fuji rebate before it expires, you will need to get off the fence and buy one in the next few days.

Yeah, I was working for like 22 days offshore(Oilfield Service Hand), and then I went back out before I had the chance to buy one for another 20 days. I figure I might be able to afford a camera now.
