Guys, is there a bigger eyecup for the D3 viewfinder?

I can't find one on BH or on Nikons site.

Thanks

George

I've been using a DK-2 eyecup on my D2H for years, just switched it over to my D3. It's been very durable despite a lot of abuse.

I don't know what the difference is between the DK-2 and DK-19.

I have the DK2 +Dk17Magnifier, fits very well.

I use the DK-19 on my D2Hs and D3--works great.

I lucked out and bought both of mine in Hong Kong - while there on a business trip.

I'll probably pick up a couple while I am there again this April.

one the 2 or 19 and what's the difference?

Hey guys, I got a guy that sells cheap lens and body caps if someone's interested.

Just got some from him today for my lenses. Haven't tried them yet but I'll let you know.

The eyepiece on the D3 is the same as on the D2 series (D2H/D2Hs/D2X/D2Xs). At least, I assume that because I just pulled my DK-2 off of my D2H and put it on my D3 and it went on exactly the same way.

The other guys said it should fit. Do I need to call Nikon then?

Georgi, I have both the DK-2 and DH-19 eyecups. There is very little difference, if any, in size and shape. The only practical difference I have been able to detect is that the DK-19 seems to be made of slightly softer more flexible rubber, and so it conforms to your eye or glasses (for those that need them) a little more efficiently and more comfortably.

Go with the DK-19 if you can find it in stock.
