Hello everyone,

This weekend I explored a few more of the hills around my hometown.
This place is called "Covelo do Monte". The spring colors and
somewhat unusual light (near sunset) turned out into something like
this...

A little earlier:

Near sunset:

Vertical framing:

Hope you enjoy them...

No digital manipulation of colors. Only slight levels adjustment
and some masking on the 3rd one to bring out foreground detail.

Olympus C-2100 UZ, as usual.

Best regards,

Antonio

Hi Adrienne,

Yes, a few minutes can make a great difference... It was rather late when I got to that spot, but I'll surely go back there and try a few more things.

It's always a joy to hear from you. Thank you so much for your support.
I'm thrilled to know you liked these.

With appreciation,

Antonio

Hello Ed,

Thank you so much for your comment. It's appreciated.

Best regards,

This is truly a fine set, Antonio.

The deep rich colors, along with the textures provided by the late
day light are just a natural for your true sense of photographic
composition. All three are excellent, but the second of them is my
favorite. Fine work indeed.

With kind regards,

Ed

Hello Robert,

Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm happy to know you are enjoying these things I'm sharing.

With appreciation,

Antonio,

These are all beautiful, but the second and particularly the third
are the prize for me. Beautifully seen and captured, and I would
expect no less from someone with your vision.

Best regards,

Robert
