Is not a F-18 Super: these have square air inlets...

These are the 'old' F-18 model, with 'rounded' air inlets. Don't know if the F-18 Super is exported outside the USA...

The rockets at the wingtips are AIM-9 Air-to-Air missiles. They are mounted on rails.

The AIM-7 is much bigger: they cannot be carried at the wingtip, only mounted under the belly of the aircraft.

Actually, AIM 7's and AIM 120's can be mounted on wingtips of some planes.

(I think the plane in the main picture with the air force member is an F-16)

However, as pointed out, the ones on the F-18s are AIM 9 Sidewinders. All practice ordinance is painted blue.
