Just Coz I miss the Wingandia posts

Very nice! I was just thinking I have been missing Billy's plants (and of course humor). Great job :)

I was pretty careful to merely say he was drinking warm beer...I
believe that is the custom....i said nothing about the quality having
never tried it myself....though warm beer in 40C would not appeal in
the slightest......LOL
No I don' think I fancy 40C beer either :)

Actually traditional English bitter should be kept at a constant, very cool (not warm) temperature. If this is done correctly it really is a delight. Different parts of the country have their own local beers with their own unique flavours.
Or so I understand, I've never tried them of course :)

...post a rose pic ....far to conventional I would have thought !!
  • the mix of colour & textures in the leafy thingies is quite pleasing though..#2 & 4 in particular I think...perhaps the rose would have been better for a seperate post today - speaking of which I better go & grab something to take home tonight , or it will be a cold tea for me!! Cheers, Ron.

Not bad, not bad at all for someone who hasn't been to Wigandia! Those beaut leaves really put on a great show, every one of them is a work of art. Seems you're quite a worthy deputy in King Billy's absence!
Couldn't help myself and got carried away 'chopping' up one of your images...

it's not meant as an improvement, could it be I was bored and just wanted to see what harm I can do to your pics? Nah, just thinking it might make a nice painting if I could just color the lines in straight this time of night.....

Geez, I must have had my only two brain wires crossed. I know you're from Australia, (rafinmelb!). Sorry about that. Maybe I need some remedial memory therapy....

I was not in the least perturbed. I do not know your age but at any age we all have the occasional senior moment (as we call a touch of forgetfulness in my household...my wife works a fair bit with older people and has imported this phrase from her professional colleagues), I seem to get them more and more...just this week I went out for a lunchtime shoot only to realise I had left my battery in the recharger at home.....LOL.....I have the pictures in my head...

Better late than never Rafael..........Just wanted to chime in on your leaves........I think you did Billy proud. Beautiful colors and lines. :)

Beautiful shots, Rafael. I particularly like the first two and the fourth. I really like the interplay between the lines, texture and light - abstract art in nature!
Regards,
Daniel
