AA Battery storage in bag.

Donald,

I want that battery holder! Where did you get it? I got one with my Olympus battery charger, but can't find the same thing anywhere else. While I am based in Australia, I may be able to get a friend to grab me one from Hong Kong (if that is where you got it).

Thanks in advance

Yes, I got mine in HK, your friend can find them in Mong Kok, those model shops near Kwong Wah Street selling these holders for $0.25 to $.50 each.

Don,

Go to the womens hair supply section of Walmart and look for a card with the fabric covered ponytail holders - not the big fat ones, but thin ones. They are made by Goodie, You can get about 20 for less than $2.00. Group 4 charged batteries together, 2 up, 2 down and wrap the ponytail holder around twice. You now have a battery speed loader. Just align the pack over your FL-40 flash (so the positive terminals are in the right position) and push all 4 into place with your thumb. Use the same techinque for Vivitar flash or PAS digital cameras.

Spent batteries can be grouped with all 4 batteries pointing the same direction to let you know they have to be recharged.

I routinely carry bunches of battery speed loaders in the side pouch of my camera bag and generally one or two in my pockets when I'm doing an event.

I've been keeping them in baggies, but there has to be a better
way. Any ideas?
