you know, this thing:

vs this thing:

I'm going to be doing about 15 portraits of upper management for my company. I have the stofen, but if the Lightsphere is the obvious way to go, I'll get one. Would I want the clear or the cloudy?

Lightsphere is way BETTER!!

here are some problems i hve with the lightsphere:

1. heavy!!
2. kills my batteries so quick!!
3. costly
4. you really can't control the lighting direction

bottom line is it really depends on what you do...

since me, i move around with two cameras when i shoot, i find this better...

The fong product is Tupperware with a bad seal. lol

Seems like every photographer goes through this and then they sit taking up space in a bag or closet.

Post your address and fifty people here will blow the dust off of theirs and send them to you. I will be sending you two!

Sweet! :-) I think I could use it for close up portraits for pay. shoot me an email if you really want to get rid of yours, I'll cover shipping!

This will cost you less than postage on something that will NOT drain your batteries and over work your flash maybe to the point of wearing it out (the blocked light makes the flash fire at full charge every time with the Tupperware lid on top.)

This guy has several videos on you tube and he shows you how to make your own bounce cards that work better and cost about a buck. They also look more professional than Tupperware.

If you do not want to make your own, he also sells them for little or nothing.

I made several with ideas he has given me (mine are much better - lol) and they work a thousand times better than Tupperware.

You are welcome!

yes! save your money for a better purchase!

check this little presentation out...

you can buy the 2-WAY BOUNCE (right) here:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/50498-REG/Sto_Fen_TW_B__TW_B_2_Way_Bounce_Unit.html

and check out more images below:

now... this one is my own invention!! i just love this one!!

this one is SOOOO COOOOL!! i made a little modification with a Paint
Guide... at Home Depot (about $0.98 to $1.29)... this is plastic and
what i like about this is it's semi-curved, durable, easy to clean
and more professional-looking...

then i (since i run a business) ordered some silicon wristbands...
with CANON logo and my business name on it to look more
professional... (and i give them out to promote my newspaper)...

combine this with BETTER BOUNCE CARD (foamy art paper)...
it's just more professional-looking!

AND it's so easy to twist and turn!! unlike a thick rubber...

hope you got some ideas here and enjoyed the little presentation folks!!

happy shooting!!

Maybe me being overly paranoid but is it legal to put a trademarked logo on something? Not that Canon is going to come after you but I would hesitate to start distributing something that says Canon on it when it isn't a canon product.
I agree that it looks sharp though.

IF i will sell these to make a profit... then i'll be in trouble...

AS FAR AS I KNOW: if i can justify that i own canon products and just wanted to use the logo along with the canons i have/use... i'm actually doing them a favor...

examples:

if i sell computers, i can put the logos of the brands i sell on my business cards, flyers, banners, give-away items, etc...

also... i accept credit cards... the credit card companies encourage me to use their logos (visa, MC, AmEx, Discover) on my print publications as much as i can...

bottom line: if you use this for profit... they will go after you...

and if i sell flash brackets and imprint CANON and sell the brackets... then i'm a dead meat!
