I also am using ACDSee and love it.
Select the thumbnails you want, right click and do discribe type in the info you want, check the Apply to All box and click ok. You have it.
Lets say you take a lot of Dog picutes at the Dog Show.
You download them and pull up ACDSee.
Look at the thumbnails of the picture, now you want to put descriptins on them.
You click on the first picture of the black dog, now hold the CTRL key down as you click on all other pictures of black dogs. Now right click and do describe Type in black dogs form the Dallas Show, check Allpy to all, and click OK. Now you can move them to other folders or what ever you want.
So if you want to find all the pictures of black dogs, do a search and type in black dogs and up come all the pictures you have of black dogs.
Now you want to see all the Dogs at the Dallas dog show. Do a search and type in Dallas Dog Show and up pops all the dog pictures form the show.
Well that is just one of many many things that ACDSee will do.
