I have had my first photo accepted into the Pentax Photo Gallery just 35 days after getting the K10D. Three others were rejected.

I am really thrilled to have my work recognized amongst such a superlative collection of work and must congratulate all who have previously been selected.

I will be working hard in the future and trust that this will be just the first of many.

Thanks Hamid,

Yes it was quite a migical morning, but at minus 28 degrees Celcius I wasn't hanging around too long. I still hadn't even had a coffee.

Thanks Shane,

I think I got lucky with that one, I was just returning into town from trying to catch the morning light on the mountains and decided to swing by the stream.

That is a very beautiful and serene shot and thoroughly deserves it's place in the Pentax Photo Gallery. Well done!

Thanks Sune.

Fog or mist really does add a nice atmosphere to photographs when it is successfully captured.

You are right, there are certainly some wonderful photographs in the gallery

Thanks Dave.

I had a couple of prints made up, one in color and one in Black and white as presents for family members.

P.S. The B&W had been requested

Great photo but...I was surprised to see that the water was not frozen to ice at -28 Celcius. You sure about that temperature :-)?
