D200, 18-200VR.

These picture looks like all colours except green and brown were de-saturated or removed. Nope, these images are exactly as the morning appeared to the eye.

And some frost...

Cold day last Friday. It was in the single digits and my fingers were numb. This was shot at 12mm and f/8. Converted in Capture NX and post processed in CS3.

Beautiful pictures!

I was born in Rumania and have fond memories of childhood summer vacations in the mountains near Sinaia.

The bay in front of my house covered with snowy ice and a small "lake" from melted snow during the day. And no it's not Rockwell colours but the real colours as I saw them that day :-)

I work to achieve good compositions...as I think that's the key to a good photo. All the other stuff is secondary in my book

We only had "winter" for a couple of days but the subzero
temperatures combined with a lot of humidity in the air transformed
the scene into a fantasy landscape covered with ice-crystals. I just
had to get out two mornings in a row to soak up the magic;-)

The contrast between the two days couldn't be any bigger, the first
day was full of color and warm light and the second was all misty and
with cold (if any) light.

D200, Tokina 12-24 and ofcourse tripod mounted:

What is the entertainment director doing with your remote in her hands!?

Nice pictures. Nice tonal range. You preserved the brightness of the snow scenes well. I especilly like the picture of the red bridge. Something about the gentle curve catches my eye.
