18-55 IS is one awesome lens.

Wow. That's a beautiful portrait. I keep hearing good things about the new 18-55 kit lens.

Mind sharing some details about this shot (EXIF)?

Sure doesn't hurt to have a beautiful model. She'd look good even using a pin hole cam. Nice.

I have one and I concur that it is an incredile lens for the money. Sharp, crisp pics with beautiful colors plus IS. I am using it on the 40D. Highly recommend it to anyone contemplating purchasing one.

Tweaks, thanks for the details. When I see a well exposed portrait like this one, I want to know more! So you shot Manual f/8 and 1/125th. What flash? Bounced? I love the light in your image. Center point focus?

Wonderful Shot. Did you have IS turned on or off for this shot? Thanks.
