Sort of teeter-tottering between photo and illustration for this one. Used Xero's Softmood for the heavy part of the processing (new version of Softmood that has just been released). :)

Nice effect.

I tried downloading the plugin for the soft mood (and other that came with the download) and I got a folder of several .8bf files. I quit CS3 and restarted, but I don't see these anywhere. Any tips?

...they need to go in your plugins folder. My folder is "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins" sans quotes for instance. I have the actual plugins in it's own subfolder where CS2 will search. Should be the same IMO. As I said in another post, you will not go wrong with Xero's filters. :)
