Sunrise helicopter flight over the Juneau Icefield

I got lucky in the way I did it. I have read of several preferred methods and now I can't find the articles. I just desaturated the image to zero when I converted it from raw and then applied adjustment layers for levels to bump up the contrast and then sharpened all done in Photoshop ele 5. Thanks for looking and the kind words. Its inspirational to here all the nice comments for everybody on here. Thank you one and all. Ron

Very beautiful images! I'm amazed they look as good as they do at those shutter speeds from a helicopter. I'm sure the 17-55 f2.8 IS would have been of benefit.

The white balance looks exceptional for the time of morning and conditions, I feel transported into the scene.
