Night Shots D300 Part II ** Warning Large Files **

Gorgeous, inspiring shots! I think that's my neighborhood. Were you in the Northside of Williamsburg by the waterfront? I recognize the Con Ed plant across the East River on 14th Street, if I'm not mistaken. I've timidly attempted to do some night shooting on some of the older, un-condo'd streets around here with my D200, but you're using a much better lens than the one I was experimenting with.

I was in that area but I don't keep track of what street I was on. Sometimes this comes back to bite me as I can't find a location again! The lens is sweet I have to give it credit. I just posted a Part III hope you enjoy that as well.

For landscape this is the lens. I have dropped this lens a few times
already, I have to upload a shot so you can see the damage it has
taken. But one thing is for sure it still takes great pictrues even
with a stiff zoom ring.
Do you like this better than the 17-55 you used for Part I?

I shot all I, II , and III with the 17-35. I have the 17-55 but it has a very bad habbit of flair most of all at night! Besides that I found that for shaprness at F8 from front to back the 17-35 does a better job, and almost flair proof!
