notice the mouth .What caused this?I know I have a shadow I have fived it in a copy of the picture.I also fixed the mouth.Just don't want it to happened again.

Looks like either milk mouth, or it could also be thrush.

Either way, the shadow on the background is distracting, move the subject away from the background. Shooting above eye level will also prevent the inside the mouth look.

I'm pretty sure you're seeing the roof of his mouth, you most likely had some sort of direct on-camera flash illuminating it. Perhaps you were using a popup flash as a trigger and that illumination is contributing to the scene?

Second the comments about moving him away from the background, and you might consider a larger light source (the shadow is fairly strong-edged)

yes I used a on camera flash to trigger a strobe.I will try using
more light next time. Thanks for all the comments I am here to learn.
Or hold a card of some kind in front of the on camera flash to allow the strobes to fire, but not be a part of the exposure....obviously, use manual exposure settings.

thank didn't know about that trick.I oftened wondered how to not allow the flash to fire.I have a XTI and there doesn't seem to be any way to turn the flash off except in the flash off mode.
