I'm so damn sick and tired of these so called radical Canonnites and Nikonians preaching about how Canon is better/Nikon is better..TROLL this, TROLL that........I figure its time for a Image shoot out. Let the people put their money where their mouth is. After all dpreview is a photography forum. you people know who you are. QUIT hiding behind the computer.......

I will be posting this on both Canon and Nikon forums....but the images will be posted on the Canon site.

So those people that talk a big game about their gear.....lets see your best image. doesn't matter what type of images.

List type of camera and lens.
 
 
Some forums do have weekly image collection threads, and possibly contests. It could be fun to have a weekly image contest which would switch between the Canon 1D/1Ds/5D and Nikon D3/D2/D1 forums each week. In the spirit of good photography, and mostly as a joke. To remind people that it is about the images and not the equipment. Some folks shoot both systems and would submit from either system as a given week's best shot dictates.

If kept civil and run as a single thread with the one forum hosting the other forum's contributors as guests each week, it could improve diplomacy between the two camps. There are some difficulties in running such a thing on an unmoderated forum like DPReview however.

Having it be a contest implies judging, which is a bit tricky. Any ideas on how that works?

If everyone brought a sense of humor and a modicum of manners, it could be a lot of fun.

For example, I enjoy my 5D and I absolutely don't care what both camps say. I know I got what I wanted.

Are you doubting your camera choice? If not, this commotion is simply waste of time.
 
Not sure if its the best i would go crazy trying to figure out my best but i like this one. Actual shot no photoshop tricks
