Select the pics ( + individually or + first and last for a sreries) click the -coffee grinder- icon and follow the menu! It's a very powerful batch processor (format, size, name, destination, filters, compression ratio, etc, etc...). You'll have to dig into the help files to learn what all it can do. You can set up batch profiles that can then be selected from the initial batch pop-up screen. It's slick I tell ya.

Ulead Photo Explorer does a great job of batch resizing, converting, etc. It is also great for printing (multiple images per page, etc) It is free from http://www.ulead.com

It is extremely simple. First select thumb nail images in the ThumbsPlus ver 4 program, click on image menu and click on "batch process or F12", then click "next" button, then click "add" button, then click "transform" button, then "rotate/resize" button and fallow the menu instructions. Actually text explanation is longer than what you can do on the computer monitor.

You can also try Graphic Workshop. It's a shareware program without time restriction. It can do batch jobs perfectly
