Canon 5D for $879 new, HA

I am considering getting the Canon 5D and got a laugh when I saw some Brooklyn store called betpricecameras.com claiming to sell a new 5D for under $900. I wonder how many people fall for this obvious scam. The wholesale price on this camera must be well above $900.

You'd either read, "is this for real?" or "I had this really horrible experience..."

Obviously as long as people think they can get an unbelievable deal, these places will stay in business. Really sad...

No, Bill said that it was BETpricecamera.com and not Best. $879 is more of a bet price than best price. You bet $879 and hope to get a camera. Best price is something else. I would rather go to Vegas with those $879 and use the nickel slot machine so it would last until I'm bored or tired. Don't try the quarter machines or you will be out in half an hour.

Don't forget the battery charger for (yes) $389 and the lithium battery for $189 or the long life lithium battery for $380!!! Wonder what other items are extra???
