And you are so right! I don't think I've ever appreciated home as much as I do now.

I can't believe someone lives there. You know, I don't think that's a tombstone in the front yard - but it
could be. Wow - that's even more scary! LOL! There were people living
here and there was a truck parked beside the house. We both saw the
house as we were going through the town and my husband turned around
so I could take a photo. After we left, he kept asking, "Did you get
a picture of that truck?" I wasn't sure, but I said, "Yes" because I
didn't want to go back in the event the owners exited the house with
their shotguns.
Hunt's Pizza..what's that?We stopped at a convenience store in town that had 'Hunt's Pizza' and
believe it or not, it was the tastiest meal we had on the trip! Huge
slices and the pizza sauce was really sweet - not whangy or bitter.
And the store was spotless.
One time I took two older ferrets from an ad in paper cause the people didn't want to pay vet to have them treated. Ear infection on one and bad liver on other. Had them treated but both only lived another year or so.Simon was a bouncing ball of fur so thank goodness he sleeps 20 out
of 24 hours a day. I smiled when I read about your ferret (we often
call Simon our weasel and have several nicknames for him including
Monster and Twinkie) (yes, I fear we are looney tunes). At one time
we rescued ferrets and inherited two ancient ones names George and
Wheezie - which sounds much like your Wheezer.
