Playing with a DSLR, I thought, if this can shoot ducks RAW, then my trusty old H1 should be able to.

Here is the result...

After post processing, I think it looked rather good...

Does this get me into the Duck Club?
(or will I we chased down the street by enraged duck-clubbers)

Regards,

Dario

Well, I must say I prefer to have feathers on my ducks but you did a nice job with the PP. ;-)

Take the scenic route! Life is too short to do otherwise.

And I agree, the pp seems perfect! Amazing what you can do when you shoot raw! I may have to give it a try myself.

'All the world's a stage.

I would say that is well done. What time should we come over?

I hope you ate it and didn't just do it for the photo. But you never can tell with an artist.

Criticize if you like, but you better be able to prove you can do better. Which you quite likely can. Compliments accepted. Oh yeah you can download and PP all you like. Between us we may get a worthwhile photo. Maybe.

Does it count for the H-series Duck Club?

Dario.

Haw! Haw! Haw! Hee, hee, Haw!! Ha!

The rest of my day is going to be great! You amazed and entertained me with your expertise on shooting RAW. But, please spare me the next phase ............ shooting in the raw.

...and I super super super resisted opening this because after such a pleasantly long reprieve from all the dang DUCKS, I was really cringing at the idea they might be coming back..

Thank goodness, very clever...

I love Sony!

Dario,

Do you not read the signs at the duck pond? The sign clearly states "Do Not Remove Duck from Pond".

By bringing the duck home and cooking it is just plain sick and against the rules. You can be seriously fined and I have a good right to turn you in.

However, since you do own an H1, I can turn the other cheeck and hopefully you won't do this again.

In the future, please remember that since you cannot remove the duck from the duck pond you must bbq the duck at the pond, and consume it there as well. You cannot bring duck leftovers home.

And since it is a community duck we are talking about, you need to bbq enough ducks for everyone at the duck pond.

BTW, those pictures sure do look scrumptious!!!!
