I'm leaving!

you know, not that it matters, but a memory just crossed my mind...

i remember several years ago, here in atlanta, the girlfriend of one
of the professional atlanta falcons football players left him & his multi-
million dollar mansion/house...

(she probably caught him cheating on her)

...she BURNED DOWN THE HOUSE on her way out.

i think i remember the story making front page news across the country.

... so she ended-up getting her glory as she left.

(i don't mean to come across as rude to those in southern california)

Sorry Shiner,

I understood that RonnieT meant to say that he is gay.
I don't know what RonnieT meant. His profile says he is an engineer. We engineers are terrible writers. Perhaps he meant funny, hilarious, entertaining . . .
I have nothing against gays. I'm from a gay loving nation called
Holland, with Amsterdam as the gay capital in the world (as said by
Dutch gays.) We even have a famous saying here around, "Holland the
low cuntry build by dykes."
By this I want to show, that we not only accept gays, but also humor.

Laughter is the best medicine, as long as it is not at the expense of others. Based on my numerous sensitivity trainings from Diversity initiatives, which include GLT, I don't feel your statement cross the boundary.

Yes :-) Well, difference in culture I guess :-) But I have to say that "cuntry" was really a spelling error, not part of my low country humor. :-)

I can see how people who have 'outed' themselves can be sensitive ie. using their real names, real websites, etc. I stay anonymous for a reason. I can say anything and I can take any insult. You're not insulting me you're insulting 'Jake' which isnt even my name. I can tell you I'm totally honest in everything I say but I just withhold info that would 'out' me. If people dont believe me I can honestly say I dont give a flying f* k ;-)

I still get what I want from this forum which is info, discussion and occasionally a chance to vent.

...his 200mm is quite unique: 200 2.8 VR !

i think you're right -

i only spoke (wrote) from fading memory,
but the then incident, similar to this thread,
created quit a raise of eyebrows.

...something simply different from the normal
"flow" of life i guess :-)

Your grammar is horrible! (Then again, I'm a bit drunk...so maybe it's me?)

I'm new to this forum. Who are you, why are you leaving, and what were expecting from this forum? I do not expect anything from anyone by lurking online. Have a good life

"The most common photojournalists' lens happen to be a 50mm F/1.4D"

That's the most ludicrous statement I have ever heard as was quickly pointed out by another poster.

I was standing by my window on a cold and cloudy day
When I saw that hearse come rolling for to carry my mother away
