It's pretty obvious that people are having problems with the Dazzle cardreader- does pretty much everyone with the Dazzle reader have problems, or is it a select few?

If people are using other card readers that are working, what are they and how much? and from where?

I'm watching how often I plug the 707 right into the computer and I'd rather use a card reader to spare any extra wear and tear on my prized investment!

Thanks for being such a GREAT FORUM- too bad everyone doesn't all live in one state b/c it would be great to have a STF 'get-together'!!!

It is butt ugly but the SmartDisk USB reader works perfectly for me. $24 from http://www.buy.com .

I'm not having a problem with it! I downloaded the software on their website, it works great with XP!
I have said this several times on this site.

This is the one I use and love it. No problems whatsoever, and you can use any type of media.

I've been looking at the pocket DigiDrive for a while. I may just have to get it. I didn't know they had an internal too!

I bought a Jessops which started to reformat my MS when in read mode thus destroying the pictures before I downloaded them via PIE Studio. Have now got Sony's own - it is better built/less flimsy and I have had no problems todate

I have been using the Amigo reader ($28.99) and it works very well with Windows ME. However, I recently discovered that I get much faster uploads to the computer if I connect the F707 directly with a USB cable. This is now my preferred method. Has anyone else made the same observation about upload speed?
