JPEG Viewer for CD Distribution

Can anyone suggest a technique for creating a CD that will ensure that JPEG files can be viewed on any PC? I have a bunch of photos from my nephews wedding and I would like to share them on CD with both families. I also don't want to become the family PC help desk!

hi,

you can create a Web Photo Gallery with Photoshop automatically (File/Automate/Web Photo Gallery). Copy the created gallery website to a cd and anyone with a browser can enjoy your images.

I will have to look into this, but isnt there a way to have the images display from a DVD player onto a TV screen.

I am NOT referring to cables from a pc DVD player but a console unit.

I've done this many times by using the free software "Album Generator and Viewer" downloaded from any of the shareware sites (Cnet, ZDnet). It contains both a means to generate an album of slides as well as the software to view the album. The software is self-starting and self-extracting so all the recipiant need do is insert the CD in their PC and watch the slide show.
