Not sure exactly what you are trying to do.Mike
I am having a hard time with this. I want to make the frame be a
"clear" part of the picture with texture, emboss or something like
that but cannot get it to work out like you did in your example.
What layer is the channel mask that you show for?
Thank you
-Denise
I'm stuck.Give it a try, if you get stuck ask how to get from point A to B. Someone will jump in to get you going.
Getting started:
I opened "dog".Open an image you want to work with.
Assuming "first file" refers to the frame, I copied "dog" onto a new layer in the "frame" file.Copy/Paste the image into the first file.
I have this:You will have the Black & White Design on the Background Layer with your image on top.
I duplicated "dog".Duplicate your image layer.
With "dog copy" as active layer, I clicked on "add layer mask".Click on the mask icon.
I clicked on "frame" layer.Click on the Design layer.
Did that.Select All / Copy.
That's where I get lost. I don't know where to paste the frame. Now go to the Channel Mask in Channels, then paste the design into the mask box.
Where am I going awry? Thanks,Now the design is your mask on the image on the top layer.
