Cropping w aspect ratio

Hi,

I don't whether this subject has been already discussed but I could not find it. In Photoshop I would like to be able to crop an image to a given aspect ratio e.g. 2:3 or 4:3 without re-sampling the image. That is I would like the extra pixels just to be removed only affecting the image size. Is there any easy way of doing that? Many thanks!

Don't shoot me if I'm wrong, but .........

If you use the marquee tool and change the Style drop-down to Fixed Ratio, then put your aspect ratio in the width and height. Then select what you want and do an Image > Crop. I don't believe you are doing a resample in that case.
