Hi.

Yesterday i wanted to take some shots of my new 100mm wireless remote for e510 together with my e510 to show the size in another thread here on the forums.

As to not offend anyone by using k10d i digged out my e-1. Rigged the flashes with elinchrome skyport, and fired away. No flash. So as i was in a hurry , k10d to the rescue.

Any setting i missed ? On the e510,e330, k10d, its just to plug the skyport in and off you go. (As long as the flash is not disabled)

Hope this is just a RTFM (which i don't have).

Make sure the flash setting on the camera is set to an enabled setting (auto, fill flash, etc.), anything but "no flash".

You can always download it from Olympus by doing a Google search for OLYMPUS E-1 MANUAL PDF.

If this is the setting you select by pressing the flash button and rolling the wheel it does not work while there's no FL flash connected to the body. As soon as you let go of the flash button the flash symbol in the lcd goes off.

(It also does not work with Nikon sb-xx flashes who work great on the 330 and 510)

Anyone know a way around this (apart from getting a pcsync cable)
