Canon S3is - How to Switch On Flash in "Auto" Mode

How to Switch On Flash in "Auto" Mode? There are some occassions (like stage school & marriage functions) where brightlights auto disables Canon S3is Flash, but still we need Flash to take those pictures better.

Please inform how to switch ON flash in auto mode in Canon S3is.

You should switch to P mode and press the flash button whenever you want.

There is no option in auto mode to switch on the flash.It will work automatically.U should go in P mode.

Yes, go it right... We have to go to P mode and "switch on" the flash. It worked thank you all
