Preferably using iLife '08 on a .MAC account. I have put together a couple of simple

pages but wish to get some ideas from others here. I also have iWork '08 and see quite a few possibilities for designing web pages with the new Pages, keynotes and even Numbers.

TIA

My site is http:web.mac.com/laurelpoint

I did this with the previous release. It was amazingly easy for a non-computer type 60 year old. Yes, I do believe a caveman could do it.

There's a link to my iWeb site in my signature below. Comments appreciated!

I'm using the iLife 06 suite and might wait a little while before upgrading to 08. I usually wait a bit before upgrading to new versions.

I checked out everyone's sites - great stuff everyone! It's always interesting and inspiring to see others' photographic efforts, and also terrific to see other peoples' iWeb pages...

Gianluca, I took a look in your galleries (very nice work!) and was surprised to see a gallery on Brighton. I grew up in Brighton and by coincidence was there myself in February of this year. I even took a few pictures down on the beach! Your BW shots work very nicely with the stormy weather. I especially like the first shot in the gallery.
mine is in the signature below, done with the previous version of iWeb.
I just upgraded to 08 but have some issues with language settings
(see thread attached)

so could not enjoy the new iWeb yet!

ciao!

Thank you Jeff and others for sharing. Would love to see more.

Jeff, you answered a question for me. It appears that you can now use your own website to publish these to.

Ken
I have been involved with the web since late 1993 (and Gopher on the
Internet before that), so I guess I am a bit of a pioneer--but I
never put together a personal site before I got iWeb '08. The ease
of use of setting up a personal domain is amazing. I just used one
of the templates I liked a lot to set up my site:

Hi all,

I set up my site (below) with iWeb 06 about a year ago. I run it off an outboard server, not .Mac. Looking forward to updating it a lot with the new release.

Only my opinion. It's worth what you paid for it. Your mileage may vary! ;-}

Here it is, my quick 'n dirty business site.

I used Pages to produce a tri-fold brochure with collages of overlapping photos. Love that integration with Aperture and iPhoto.

Reply to everyone:

Is it possible to have users and passwords to access different folders? Example: user1 have permission to access folders 1 and 2, user2 have permission to access folders 3 and 4,...

Sorry, I´m a beginner on mac world.

Not an iWeb site as such, but I've just been processing some images from a recent trip to South Africa and thought I'd try uploading them to a web gallery from iPhoto '08.

I was amazed at how simple this is! Just one click and it was published! I'm also very impressed with the overall look of the new iPhoto web galleries in '08. Very slick, and it gives the viewer options to change the background colour, viewing mode, and they can even subscribe to a RSS feed to be notified of updates.
