I am (was) a registered owner of Thumber. Last week I reformatted my hard drive and of course lost Thumber as it was installed. I did retain my registration codes (th Thumber, Qimage, and a whole bunch more down-load type programs) on back-up files which I burned to a CD. I downloaded Thumber and attempted to "Register" using the code which Thumber had provided me, and all I get is a screen which won't move forward unless I give my credit card number all over again. I would expect that you don't have to purchase software multiple times if you download from the internet, but I can't figure out how to get this thing (Full Version) up and running again. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have written to Kaga (??) asking for help on reactivating my Thumber, but they have ignored me to this date. I would sure appreciate any suggestions that anyone might have. The only other program that I have had a problem with is PIE, although I have gotten PIE Studio to take the code - but not PIE. Same issue there. I am being put on ignore.

Kagi is a shareware registration company. It does not support any products; it only collects payments. Try going to the TawabaWare web site and contacting the author of the program. Here is the web page with his contact information: http://tawba.tripod.com/max.htm

Mike,

Thanks for the link. Max Lyons of Thumber responded almost immediately upon my sending him an e-mail. Now, if I could only get the PIE folks to respond like Max and Mike Chaney have.

I guess that with the PIE folks it's not really in their interest to answer back, I tried more than a week ago.....
