I have been using a 5hp trole montor....but the motor has been bord 30 over, cam, header, and a holley 650 4 barrel.

Not bad. What did that set ya back, if ya don't mind me asking? I'm in the market myself for a nice ski boat like ya got here.

Hippp, when I was on the aircraft carrier USS John F Kennedy, the Battleship USS New Jersey (BB-62) was deployed with us off the coast of Beirut Lebanon in '83...
When she would fire her 16 inch guns at the coast you knew someone was gonna have a bad day... ;> )
