I took this shot today with my Fuji F11 in a slightly misty and damp Whitby on the NE coast of the uk. He was part of a larger group of dancers but thought he looked rather forlorn when away from the main group.

Tell me does it work for you framed as it is or should I look to crop it differently ?. I was hoping to give a sense of him being alone and really just dancing for his own pleasure. There was quite a large group of people watching but fortunately the background was clear for a few seconds when I took it.

Thanks for looking

Well the horizon is fairly level....uh, sorry private joke. I would crop out the flag pole on the left and in fact crop to just behind his heel. This would eliminate the distacting pole which adds nothing to the composition and also would make the figure more dynamic. Try a little lightening and higher contrast just for the fun of it...E
