Trixie Delight * Super Model

Admit it,,,you know the true real reason you got a dslr is because
you couldn't stand the fact that I already had one!! ha :)
You have me figured out... How I did not end up with a Nikon to copy you exactly is still a mystery to me. Maybe that would have been to obvious.

I asked in the other thread, but will ask again. Did you struggle with the lack of live histogram and live view when you started with the Nikon? I never realized how much I was not paying attention until I had to. I assume there comes a time when the settings become second nature and I can get back to just badly framing the shot... cant wait for that...
As previously mentioned in the humble fuji forum....Trixie is indeed
a delight...I have been hypnotized by the eyes!
Then my evil plan is working... You are falling under my spell. Like all great practitioners of "The Craft". I am using the cat as my ticket to the soul.... Hehehe... my little pretty.

Must go get a computer this weekend... Any thoughts...

Thanks Robin... Those are my sentiments exactly...

Trixie is a bit shy, but when she graces us with her presence the room lights up....
And my daughter is a serious one, but she also lights up a room.

Peter, I am not so far up the curve as you think... I think Elvis Costello said it best: "Accidents will happen"

I am stuggling a bit with exp/ indoor white balance/ Shadows . All the things DSLR newbies do. And I need my own computer so I can start using a real PP program and start shooting raw to fix my mistakes/adjust white balance and try to bring out shadow detail.
So much to learn.
But I am having fun.

No not really, because I never paid attention the live view and histrogram on my Fuji's...I'm lazy... :) There are those who consider the historgram to be the scripture of digitial photography and other very famous professional photographers such as Bryan Peterson, etc. who tell you to totally ignore them...guess its all in how you feel about it...and what you are used to...

Ehmmmm well of course just to be different at home I have never owned anything but a MAC...and looooooooooooooooove them. My 2 kids would not even consider buying brand windows... :)

Of coures mainstream is a windows based unit..but that nasty Vista.....asta la vista baby..no way! A pity that with new units that is your basic only choice.....I will continue to stick with my Mac's....upgradable, last for years, no crashing, no virus....I have windows installed on my MAC for job work interchangability.

But if you exchange work frequently with other window users....windows may be best, but xp, vista, others are not that compatable with each other, at least from what I have seen..
Lots of choices.

I have been thinking about an Apple

Thats been my problem... I have debated buying a mac for all the obvious reasons. But it is a whole new system to learn... I am tired of all this electronic learn'n.

And if I do end up with a new windows system I am probably going to put XP on it too, and never use the vista if possible. So many freaking questions....

Mac's are wonderful and extremely easy to learn the system...but if your software and experience has been windows..then perhaps.....just make sure to spend a little extra and get good components...not the el cheapo system..

A fab shot of the Macintosh!!
