I'm loving the Bigma also. I've had a lot of fun over the past year with it, so glad I got it! Of course, not that I wouldn't like to take a 400 f/5.6 w/ a 1.4TC out for a date sometime.
Cool shots, love that Bigma :-)

Michael, I visited your pbase site and you have some great pictures. Did you have someone print that for you or do you have a printer that will do that?

Thanks Shelton, I've always sent my pics to http://www.mpix.com/ to be printed. I've always been pleased with their product/service so have never tried anywhere else except the local Walgreens for smaller prints.

Thanks Greg, hope ya made it there and had a good time, I sure did. I actually kept an eye out for you while I was down there. Your documentation of the wildlife in that area is astounding and you give me lens envy like none other. Enjoy your galleries a lot.
Veru nice shots. I love Anahuac NWR, hopefully I will be spending
some time there tomorrow.

That appears to be one fantastic and versatile lens. The shots are fantastic, they're all nice and sharp for 500mm. I might have to save up for one of those babies.

Thanks,

I finally did make it out after getting caught in a downpour at High Island. There were plenty of birds to see but I was just about carried off by the deer flies. I have never seen so many before!!!

Hopefully we will run into each other soon.

Hmm, I don't know about you but when I do a portrait, I to make it a little more flattering by whitening their teeth, but your alligator's teeth were kinda yellow! :-)

Great shots! I loved the tiger that someone else contributed as well.

I like mine a lot, mostly for the versatility, wouldn't want to
imagine being without it. Opinions seem to vary though :)
I was without mine for a couple months after i dropped her and it sucked, i never want to be bigless again ;-)

Yep, its not a lens for everyone. They'll probably bury me with mine though. Glad you're enjoying yours too. Keep posting them Bigma pics.
