Even without knowing of your loss, I would have found this picture moving. The way she has her hands on the photo, the photo itself and the look in her eyes combine to tell a powerful story. A fitting tribute and a compelling story.

Sorry for your/Her loss.

Many owuld have positioned her looking to the pictures and would have lit the other side of your face. Guess you having her look the other side and lighting up that side expresses her feelings and her memory reaching in the past better. It also shows her eyes better and man those eyes do convey lots of hidden emotions.

When looking back on creation process made me come to the conclusion that the biggest amount of time was spent was on puting the story together.

Maybe my other images would be more compeling, if they went through similar creative process.
