First let me apologize for my lengthiness. I'm too long-winded.

My Mom has Dementia & my Sister & I are her caretakers besides running our own households, too. We do this with pleasure. We could not ever repay her for all she's done for us & our 4 brothers. I decided to bring her to my house & fix all her favorites instead of taking her dinner to her. She never wants to go anywhere anymore but I chided her into coming & had our kids over, too. This is just a little background to explain why I have a request.

I haven't had my 707 long & know very little about using my PS6 to doctor up photos, yet. My son had been looking at my DA and it was just in front of me on the table. I noticed Mom get a glint of recognition in her beautiful blue, most time lost eyes & then she started interacting with everyone & smiled. My Mom doesn't really smile or interact too much anymore.

I grabbed my 707 & snapped a couple of memories. But I wasn't even ready or setup to take pictures. So they are terrible shots but Mom is smiling! In one she laughed:)) & shut her eyes but she laughed. :))) I have cut her out of a bigger shot but is there anyway I could lighten her face & get rid of the background clutter? Excuse the mess, we're redecorating & the place is a mess. Can someone tell me how I might fix them even though they aren't really good shots? Can I salvage them? It may never happen again. I thought if anyone would know how & if, it would be someone here on the Forum.

Thank you Loren. i just wish I'd been ready to take her picture. Her smile is so precious & rare these days. But she still has the heart of a Lion. She still, at very odd moments, has such a sense a Humor in the few moments we get once in a blue moon. She told me a while back that looking at herself in the mirror was like looking at a house where all the lights were on & no one is home. She was a nurse's & home health care aide for almost 50 years. She loved everyone, and we her.
I appreciate your kind words.
