Congrats,

The acid test for me is: Is the AF/Shutter Lag good enough to capture the fleeting moments of a kid's smile and funny expressions??

Ain't looking for "sports" quality AF/SL, just don't want pictures of the backs of my kid's heads.

how long ago did you order your d60 to be #9 on the list

Not that long, like 2 weeks ago. For some reason, they didn't had too many people placing orders with them, unlike aden camera and henrys. So, I took my chance

Re posting. First you identify the ones you want to post by naming them (rather than file number). Secondly, register with p.base.com. When you have set up a gallery (Pbase give quite good instructions), then go to Browse on the edit gallery page (this is all from memory as I am at work). Click on your hard drive. Find Program then Canon then Zoombrowser (or whatever you are using) - Image Library then the folder where the particular photograph is. Click on the name. You will see the program file in the small screen. Click on the button Upload just below the Browse icon in pbase. Its pretty slow at the moment.

I know you're excited, but I find this hard to believe. 'Big" difference? At what size? How is it a big difference? You mentioned D30 "color probelms" in another post. What color problems? All I know is my D30 is wonderful in color rendition and prints to 11x14 are stunning as compared to film.

Biiiig difference! I am using Epson 1280 with semigloss paper.
Prints are stunning. Better than D30 for sure. To all ex- D30

The file numbers seem awfully high for a new camera. My D30 was new (not opened or refurbed) and started at around 650. I assume you havn't REALLY put nearly 7500 images on you D60 already, have you?

The DXX looks to the compact flash card to see where the number should begin. He most likely used a card from a D30.
