Last time I checked Canon had this camera on its web site.

I can't find any stores in Canada that have this body in stock.

It was released at the same time as the 5D which is available at just about every store I checked here in Greater Toronto Area.

I decided on the 5D earlier this year but now I changed my mind and the 1D MKII N will suit me best. No the MKIII is not ideal because I'm already breaking the bank going from the 5D price to the MKII N price.

Thank you

I don't think its in production any more. I think B&H still lists them as in stock here in the US so you may be able to get them in "new" state, but I wouldn't wait too long or they'll all be gone. Refurbs may show up and are worth buying too if done by Canon.

B&H has them in stock, I got another one last week The 1Dmk2n works so well for my needs I have two of them. I could of got the 1Dmk3 but chose the 1Dmk2n over it.

The many lives that came before us speak to us today. Our actions today will speak to those in the future.

...you'll see mine there soon since I'm ordering the 1DMKIII. Less than year old and less than 5000 actuations.

Henry's eBay store has open box and refurbs still, on occasion.

Steve,

My advice is to buy a used MkIIN. This camera is designed to be abused by a pro photographer for several years of service, and there are a ton of them out there that are barely broken in that will be sold over the coming months as people upgrade to MIIIs. I have to that I will be selling in the next month that I have used professionally, but they still are in excellent shape. The price differential for new doesn't seem worth it to me for the Ns.

B&H now lists the Mark IIN as out of stock. Too bad, as I was thinking of ordering one.
