Hello Guys,

I have been a passive member of this forum for about 2 years now.. I am now a proud owner of the new Nikon D40 splendid camera. Oh wow...what a piece of craft.

My first camera was the Camera A400 with which I had the pleasure of taking about 10K plus snaps & still going strong...

Below is the link to my newly published album of a few sunset shots taken from my house balcony... (Mumbai, India) .

I had set the settings in the P mode suggested by Ken Rockwell's D40's manual... & wow the output what i see is simply superb...

Would like to have some inputs from the big daddy's....

Nice pics, amazing how much the sky changed in this setting. How long did you
take to shoot the series?

To imbed the picture: click on the photo and then click on the box at the top marked 'all sizes'. Choose the size you want and copy address in the lower box labled 'grab the photos URL', then paste it in the message. I would advise against choosing a large or full size image as the bigger ones can take a long time to load if the viewer is on dial up internet.

Cheers, Pete

Glorious sunsets Ashkaye and well captured - my favourite is DSC_1348 - sorry, but I don't believe it's possible for me to embed someone else's image!

Cheers
Tricia
