the contest website.
Place your entries in the appropriate sub-gallery of the
"oly_forum_black_and_white_contest" gallery according to their
subject area. You decide which category is appropriate to place it
in. We don’t care. The voters will let you know if you screwed up
and that PORTRAIT of your neighbor’s pig in the space suit was
actually ART or OTHER.
If you have trouble "placing" your image, simply drop it into the
"inbox" gallery and Inigo ( My Amigo ) will try to take it from
there.
You may post one entry in each category. You may post the same
entry in more than one or all categories.
Pictures should originate from an Olympus Digital. What you do
after that to get to pure B&W or sepia or IR is up to you. If you
choose to add a touch of color … the voters will decide this thing
so do whatever winds your clock.
( R ) Richard70 will tally the votes. You must be a forum member to
vote. An official form will be posted for you to clip and email to
Richard. Richard was chosen for this job because he is a scoundrel,
a liar and a cheat. You may vote for one person in each category
and may vote in any or all categories. The person with the most
votes in a category wins that category. The person with the most
votes overall, wins the overall contest.
You may start posting pictures at any time. You must be a forum
member to enter. Please identify all pictures as follows:

EXAMPLE:

All pictures that are not identified in that manner will be
disqualified.
I am asking 3DTIM to settle any disputes that arise. Simply email
them to him so that he can throw them away. If Tim is suspended or
kicked off the forum at that time … simply email them to a random
email address and the recipient will do as good a job as Tim would.
VOTING:
We will begin voting when I post the ballot on the morning of
Saturday April 20 and will continue through 6:00 P.M. CST on Sunday
April 21. This should allow all faiths as well as the faithless to
participate.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS:
Richard will announce the winners on Monday April 22 or whenever he
feels like it or gets them counted. His decision will be final …
even if it is right.
HOW LONG CAN YOU ENTER PICS?:
There is no cutoff date or time. You can post them up to and
including the days that the voting is going on. You can enter them
for the next year and a half if you want. Once the voting ends, it
ends.
PRIZES:
There are none. I am going to touch base with Mr. Askey and inquire
as to the possibility of his or his sponsor’s sponsorship of a
prize or prizes.
