Wow the B&W is stunning!!!

I think they are very nice and not over saturated. I prefer vivid colors. Have never shot anything but vivid with my E-500 except for a few in B&W setting. Didn't like the result of B&W so now shoot all color and convert to B&W in photoshop.

Not as good as most here but it sums up the UK summer so far.

Comments/critique/guidance welcome.

Thanks for looking.

They almost look like plasctic! Really interesting and pretty!
Hey HgSoft, maybe Gary shot with a Canon plastic-cam! 8^)

I love these photos, Gary. The flowers in the last five shots are the harlequins of the flower world, aren't they? My fav photo, though, shows the lovely pink flower against the blue background.

Some beautiful flowers here, sure wish my internet connection was faster! Only have gotten a chance to look at a couple of posts so far, but I am crazy about Jenny's pics (wonerful colors and compositions) and Gary Hebert's have a really strong graphic element to them that I just love.

Got up early for some pics today, so now it's time for a nap but I wanted to quickly post a few favorites from a coupe of months ago:
Tulip Delight

Tulips Basking In The Sun

Porch Tulips

All taken with the E1 and the 14-54mm lens with some softening during postwork for the dreamy effect. Hope you like them!
