Remove battery / SD card out
use a small phillip screw drive and remove all screws on the the case, keep track of all screws so it's easy to put the back
when all screw remove, gently seperate both casing apart, then push the bottom of the case and tilt it as an angle to remove them out, you will notice that the shuttle/zoom button is on it's way that why you must push the bottom to get it out
once you get it out, put the camera with the lens facing up, on the bottom right near the lens there is a little triangle thing llok like a fan, use a toothpick or some thing small to turn it freely a copule time.
now put the battry back, and while pressing/hold the power button then slowly/gently turn to big ring of the lens and maybe the small ring lens too
Do not force them, IF the lens are not turn at all, try to turn that little triangle fan couple times.
you can use cotton swap apply a small WD40 to the ring lens. not too much and clean it right away
I have atempt to tried at least 5 or 6 times in order to get the camera to works, so take your time and do not rush
good luck
I was able to removed the case and while pressing the power button I
gently assist to turn the lens a bit, I also found there is of dirt
got into the barrel between the big ring and small ring, this could
be the reason why the lens got stuck and can not retract, I clean it
up the ring's lens barrel and using cotton swap and clean up the
barrel with WD40, keep pressing on-off until the lens smoothly
retract then wipe off all WD40
so far so good and keep finger cross
