All of the details are not in place yet but here is where we are going. The categories for our B&W Photo Extravaganza are:

1. PORTRAITS = People Or Maybe Even Sheep Or Your Mother In Law

2. BUILDINGS = Stuff People Build Or Hide In When You Are Running From The Law Or Your Wife
3. LANDSCAPES = Stuff People Look Out At And Say, "Oh My!"
4. OTHER = Other

5. ART = Apparently Drug Induced Sorts of Creative Stuff That Makes People Think That You Are Goofy or Talented Or Creative Or Bored Senseless

So ... start taking pictures and getting ready!

We need as few rules as possible so people don't whine about someone not following the rules exactly. It does not matter how you get to B&W or sepia or IR. Just don't make it strictly color. If you want to add a little color, fine. Info on where to post and when and how and voting and all of that stuff will come later when I make it up.

(R) The (R) in my subject is something that I am going to post in my subjects and encourage others to do. It means that I care about Richard and think about him and want him to know that I wish that I could help. It means that I am his friend and that I want HIM to be his friend. We all have problems of one kind or another, some we can fix on our own and others which we need help from friends!

Great ideas so far! Looking forward to watching this develop. Count me in! I'm thinking of doing a PORTRAIT of a BUILDING in a beautiful LANDSCAPE in some OTHER kind of place, and doing it in a real ARTSY kind of technique, all covered with whipped cream. Am I on the right track?
