Got home from Portland last night around 10:30. After we checked out at the Red Lion Thursday we headed for the waterfalls along the Scenic Highway again. Had a great time. We stayed the night at Hood River, couldn't make the internet work but we were so tired we didn't care. Went to bed and crashed. lol

Yesterday we drove up to Mt. Hood. After that we had planned on spending the night in LaGrande or somewhere then explore the Joseph area before coming home, but, once the car got headed East it wouldn't stop other than for gas, dinner, and home.

I have yet to read all the posts I missed here, but will get to them later. Did a quick glance at pics I took along the way, and as usual, I'm not that happy with them, but hoping I have a few keepers. Will look at them again later.

We did have a nice time. I love the Gorge area and Portland. Just wish we could wiggle our nose and be there, plus I wish hotels were super cheap, yet clean and nice. lol

While we were at the Red Lion I got email from my greatest friend, Linda, in Iowa. She sent it right when I was sitting out in the pool area...waiting for my coffee from Bob! This is what she sent!....

I about fell out of my chair laughing. Only she would find something like this! Yes, that is exactly where we were, but NO IT WAS NOT ME! hehe I emailed it to Mom and she said it had better not be me! lol The article is too small to read, but I did see it was 2004. I wasn't there then.

I want to get some sort of pic for the 7-7-7 photo so going to go hunting. Not sure what I will find. I hope you all have one for it, too. It's for photographyvoice, you know. If you don't, get out NOW.

Be back later.

that is so funny ..

we just got back from up by Joeseph area .. we did the whole Hells Canyon Scenic Byway drive in 3 days .. we camped out in the Blazer and it as awesome .. if you do come up this way .. you have to head to Imnaha and head up to Hat Point Look out .. it is sooooo beautifull up there .. take a tent and camp out there .. cant haul a trailer up there ... it is a 24 miles stretch with about 10 miles of it being a 16% grade.. and not sure if there is a motel to stay at in Imnaha.. but you can always head back to Joeseph and stay the night there .. but trust me if you dont mind tenting it .. you would love to stay up at Hatpoint..

chek out my thread on the hells canyon byway i just posted...

Judy Judy...no use denying it. I know the real you!

And haven't I told you a million times..stay away from those porn sites!

Ok..your googling was a waste of time...I used a "make your own headline" site :)
Now I wish I had put your name in it!

Judy, we would have to see photos to compare to be convinced that it was not you. As Sgt. Joe Leaphorn of the Navajo Tribal Police used to say in the Tony Hillerman novels; "I don't believe in coincidences." LOL

Glad you had a great time.

Best to you,

****:)

And to think I even told the waitress about this. I asked if she remembered it. Mom was smarter than I am! She told my aunt that you were good at making stuff like this up! You are so funny!

But wait, is this the newspaper making site I sent you? I got one off Tnet, sent you the link and bookmarked it but never checked it out.
Ok, you won on this one. rofl

If I learned anything about guys from my boyhood days, it was that the one who suddenly looked around and asked in an accusing voice, "WHO cut the cheese??" was inevitably the cheese cutter!

I don't remember you ever sending me a newspaper generator. I didn't even know they existed until I did a search to see if they did exist.

This one looks much better than the one I found. On mine, you could only do the headline. I'll have to keep this one in mind for next time:)

lol, you actually told the waitress about it???
