G2 for 639$

I keep getting the feeling all those malfunctioning and returned G2's that must be out there somewhere are being sold for less like this, kind of popping up eveywhere at low prices. Can't legally sell though without saying refurbished or used, right? Heh-heh. At least I sure hope not.
Just ordered mine last week from DELL for $669.96, but the price is again at $719.96.
I mean, for instance, why would DELL fluctuate so much on their price if it weren't to get rid of such cameras? I've seen other places do the same. Marketing is not something I know about at all, having only one business class for a semester in highschool way back in 1976.--Farewell, Bob H.

I've been watching Dell for a while and thought their lowest price was at $719.96 when they offered the 10% digital camera discount. Did I miss a dip or is there an additional discount I don't know about?
With regard to Dell, they have a great reputation. I've dealt with them for years on both a personal and business level and have never had any trouble. I would feel very confident you are getting a new model.
