Well, all good things must come to an end. (Thank God). I can
tell that all who entered had a great time with this. I certainly
would have hoped for a much larger number of entries , but I
guess this wasn't for everyone. I was very impressed with most
all the entries. There is some great talent in this forum. There
are also some very funny individuals who keep us laughing and
coming back here. The humor was very prominant in the contest.

I think I shall consult the elders and plan the next challenge as
soon as I can. We will listen to all suggestions and make the
necessary changes to our format. The most obvious change will
be in the voting procedures. So , without further delay , here
are the results as relayed to me by a relatively "unmisted" Ergo:

1st Place 5 Votes "Haunted" Terrie

2nd Place 4 Votes "Better Clones&Gardens" Sandman

3rd Place 3 Votes "Spanish Inquisition" IRC

Congratulations to Terrie . Glad you joined in and I know your
just thrilled to death. You came in here and beat us at our own
game ! A very professional looking cover.

Jim, you really did a super job on your cover. At least one Georgia
boy's worth something!

Ian , I had you pegged for an early winner right off the bat. Very
slick cover. I think you were the most enthusiastic of the bunch !

And now , the "big" prize. Terrie , you've won a custom wood
picture frame with matte , courtesy of 3D Woodworks . (that's me)
Any size for your most cherished print or artwork. E-mail me with
what you need. I handle the shipping as well.

Well, thanks to all who participated and thanks to Ergo for helping
out and disqualifying my entry. I have a "big" prize for you too !

See ya in the next challenge

Terrie,

Congratulations on winning this prestigious award! Speech! Speech! Speech! (and don't forget to thank all the "little people.")

And, if Terrie hangs around and makes a few posts now and again, we'll all be the winners!

Thanks again for your winning contribution,

jim

Tim and everyone,

Well, I would first like to thank the academy... :)

Seriously, that's wonderful! Thanks to all who voted for me. I thought there were a lot of creative entries. I'm glad I found this group, it seems like everyone is very talented and a lot of fun.

A frame is a very cool prize! I won't have to thumb-tack the picture to the wall!

Thank you all so much!

Terrie

and Terrie your top dog.....but Congratulations to all we are all winners for being part of this group.

What a group, fun, knowledge and friendship, even though we most of us have never met, face to face.

Woo hoo.

Great fun! Way to go Terrie, Sandman.

Since Terrie didn't say it... I would like to thank all the little people for making my bronze possible. Mom, Dad, luv ya, couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for making me read books and tolerating 700 hours of the "Holy Grail." :)

So do I get a Miss Congeniality award or something? :)
Ian , I had you pegged for an early winner right off the bat. Very

Well done, Terrie. heh, I never knew there was a real prize else I wouldn't have rushed mine out the gate. Still, it was a lot of fun and hope the next contest will be even better.

Yeah I thought the "big prize" was a joke too. When I entered I thought Seat was going to win. It looks like a legitimate art/architecture mag.

The only joke here was that "I" didn't get a single vote ! I was
so proud of my daughter , I had to put her on the cover. I had
just taken that shot a few nights before. It was a lot of fun.
Still wondering about the Horticulture entry though.

I was wondering....maybe there is a "booby prize" for the least amount of votes - maybe I'd have a chance in that contest!! (maybe all of us that didn't get A SINGLE VOTE - we could get a 3x5 frame - no matting of course!) HA

Tim & Ergo... Y'all did a fantastic job organizing and keeping the cover contest moving. I really look forward to another group participation project in the near future. As I have mentioned before, it was a terrific learning experience for me.

Congratulations to Terrie... and to Jim and Ian for their close runnerup positions. I look forward to photos of Terrie in her crown with her boquet of roses and her 3D-award. By the way, where are the photos of Terrie in the swim suit competition? ;-)

I would also like to thank all of those who voted for my entry... hmmmmm... I guess that would be just Mary. THANKS MARY!!!

Special thanks to those that put this together!

Thanks to carla for the vote :)

I would also like to let everyone they did very well on their covers. I was just astounded by what the people in here did. Kinda put mine to shame looks like I will be doing some practice. Thanks for the challenge anyway!
